On April 25, 2014, Springmate donated 63 polyurethane foam picnic mattresses, worth THB100,170 (approximately 3,130 US dollars), to the impoverished and disadvantaged communities of Myanmar refugees in the area around the Thai-Myanmar border in Sangklaburi District, Kanchaburi Province (five-hour drive from Bangkok). The picnic mattresses were obtained from the “Happiness is Sharing: Buy 1 Donate 1” charity campaign that was held back in February in association with the Pattanarak Foundation (http://www.pattanarak.or.th/).
