On November 10, 2012, Springmate, in association with the Thai Young Philanthropist Network (TYPN), held a charity trip to Phetchaboon, a province 5-hour-drive north of Bangkok. After a stop at Sri Thep Historical Park in Phetchaboon, where the group had a chance to learn about an ancient Khmer town of Abhai-sali, the Springmate team and TYPNers moved on to Phetchaboon School for the Deaf, a state boarding school for impoverished children with mental and hearing disabilities, to entertain the 270 disadvantaged students with various activities. The fun and happy afternoon came to a close with Springmate's donating 336 sets of mattresses and bedding, worth over 1.3 million baht (approximately 43,000 US dollars), to the school.
