Following the disastrous earthquake in Nepal on April 25, 2015, Somphol Bedding and Mattress Industry Co., Ltd. (SPB), under the brand Springmate, joined force with SN Joshi & Sons Pvt. Ltd., Springmate’s distributor in Nepal, and The Boss Association to raise THB715,500 (USD21,170) between April 30 and May 17, 2015. The fund raised was used to purchase raw materials for the production of 1,590 polyurethane foam picnic mattresses of size 90 x 198 x 2.5 cm. 

All the mattresses produced were sent by the Napalese government to Gorkha District, the epicentre of the earthquake, and given to those affected by the representatives of SN Joshi & Sons at the end of December 2015.
